The Start
After retiring from Cal State Fullerton, I imagined slow mornings, more time with family, and a few extra hobbies. What I didn’t expect was how quickly I’d miss the sense of creativity and purpose my work once gave me.
The Spark
When Covid hit, like so many others, I found myself at home completely restless. I decided to return to a lifelong passion: baking. There is something so grounding in the smell of cinnamon, the rhythm of decorating, and the simple joy of sharing.
The Leap
Friends and family had always loved my baking, but this time, I decided to take it seriously. I immersed myself in everything from advanced decorating and packaging to marketing and brand building. I wasn’t just baking anymore—I was building a business.
Today
Sweet Talk Desserts creates custom cookies, caramel apples, and treats for life’s sweetest moments. From real estate closings to weddings, every order is crafted with care, intention, and a whole lot of love!
